Independent Practitioner Disclaimer

Some services, readings, events, classes, workshops, trainings, sessions, or programs listed on this website or offered at The Portal at Living Energy may be provided by independent practitioners who are not employees, agents, partners, or legal representatives of The Portal at Living Energy, unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing.

Independent practitioner relationship: Independent practitioners who use The Portal's space, scheduling, payment processing, promotional materials, or administrative support are separate and independent service providers. They are solely responsible for their own services, representations, client relationships, scope of practice, professional conduct, compliance with applicable law, licensing or certification (where required), professional insurance, taxes, and any claims arising from their services.

Practitioner views and claims: The views, statements, methods, claims, recommendations, and results represented by any independent practitioner are their own and do not necessarily represent the views, policies, or positions of The Portal at Living Energy.

Client responsibility: Clients are encouraged to review the qualifications, methods, and credentials of any practitioner and to make their own informed decision about whether a service is appropriate for them. The Portal at Living Energy makes no warranty, guarantee, or representation regarding any independent practitioner's qualifications, outcomes, representations, or professional conduct beyond what is required by applicable law.

The Portal's role: The Portal may provide space, scheduling support, payment processing, marketing, or administrative assistance to facilitate the offering of practitioner services without thereby assuming responsibility for those services, their outcomes, or the practitioner's professional conduct or representations.

Bookings and appointments managed by the practitioner or partner: Any and all bookings or appointments made with an independently contracted practitioner or a partner of The Portal at Living Energy are managed by those individuals, and not by any agent or employee of The Portal. Scheduling, confirmations, intake, communications, and the conduct of the session, class, reading, workshop, event, or program rest with the independent practitioner or partner.

Cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds: Any terms, conditions, or restrictions related to cancellations, rescheduling, deposits, payments, or refunds for these bookings are set at the sole discretion of the independently contracted practitioner and/or partner. The Portal's own Cancellation, Rescheduling & No-Show Policy does not govern appointments managed by an independent practitioner or partner unless expressly stated in writing.

Release of liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Portal at Living Energy and its agents, owners, officers, employees, and representatives, in their entirety, are relieved of and released from any and all liability regarding bookings, appointments, financial investments, deposits, payments, refunds, and any harm, injury, or loss resulting from any class, reading, session, workshop, event, or program booked with or facilitated by any independently contracted practitioner or partner of The Portal.
